The online tutorials are designed to help interested parties learn more about the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. Tutorials for each course are offered in a PDF and podcast format to accommodate different learning styles. Program Basics
This course provides a basic introduction to the purpose, eligibility requirements and structure of the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and the Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. Tutorial 4 is an advanced tutorial intended for those experienced with both programs. The course closes with an introduction to the legislative and policy underpinnings to these programs.

The information presented is introductory in nature and is based on presentations provided by the agency SBIR/STTR Program Managers. Information that is common to all programs is covered in the Program Basics course.
